Carlisle’s loudest export Hardwicke Circus is to embark on Songs of Freedom - becoming the first UK band to tour Ukraine since the war began. Ripping up the rulebook in a move as audacious as it is heartfelt, the band will finish their tour of the Czech Republic and travel to Ukraine to perform shows & workshops across the country which will be recorded for a new live album. All proceeds will support Ukraine’s war effort. ‘It’s our conscience taking us there, our gesture of solidarity for peace and freedom. We believe in Ukraine, so on being offered this opportunity we decided to put our money where our mouth is’. Tour support comes from Kharkiv band Okazia.
